Cynthiana Tourism/Rohs Opera House Superhero Summer Challenge

Be a local superhero by taking the Cynthiana Tourism/ Rohs Superhero Challenge. Between May 2021 and September 2021, complete the following ten challenges that will test your skills and abilities to be a local superhero. While superheroes are frequently found on the big screen at Rohs Opera House, Cynthiana has a need for our own brand of heroes, those who help others and their communities right here in the streets of Cynthiana.

Complete and log all ten challenges and you will receive an exclusive Cynthiana Tourism t-shirt, superhero bracelet and be featured in Rohs Hall of Heroes at the Rohs Opera House.

How to participate: Sign up below and pay your $20 entry fee. You'll receive the list of the hero challenges for you to complete between May and September. Take a photo and log your progress by using the hashtag #cynsuperhero and tag Rohs Opera House and Cynthiana Tourism in your posts.

Hike Quiet Trails Nature Preserve down to the river and back,
Walk both loops of Flat Run Veterans Park walking trails and
Hike a trail at Griffith Woods

Catfish Man

Licking River

Water Challenge

Canoe, Kayak or float a minimum of two hours on the Licking River

Captain Freedom Target Challenge

Complete the disc golf course at Flat Run Veterans Park with a score of 50 or lower

The Blaze Run/Walk Challenge

Do the Main Street Mile as part of the Cynthiana Subway trails downtown. The mile begins at the Cynthiana Pocket Park on Main Street.

Muscular Humanoid Trash Smash

Choose a block or road and attack the trash. Pick up and smash the trash into the closest bag or trash can.

Captain Marvelous Marvelous Mural Find

Get a Library Card and take a selfie with it in front of one of the library murals and

Find and take a selfie in front of twenty murals in Cynthiana

Doctor Weird Museum Hunt

Find designated items in the Cynthiana Harrison County museum on Walnut Street.

Captain Earth Sunflower Field Hunt

Find all five element markers around the sunflower field (Earth, Wind, Water, Fire and Heart)

Running Suits

Attend three community events (Summer Concert Series, Rod Run, Rotary’s Fabulous Fourth, etc.) and

Attend a movie at Rohs Opera House.
